THE WAYS THAT SEEMED RIGHT BY MAN IS NOT ALWAYS PLEASING IN THE SIGHT OF GOD by Michael

From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his deciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Then Peter took him and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, LORD: this shall not be unto thee (Matthew 16:21 – 22).

There is something that seems right to a man but in the eyes of God it is an abomination. And many lead others astray, thinking that they are doing the right thing. Many believe that what they perceive is true. And what they do are pleasing to the LORD. But they follow after the god of deception and death. If God has not revealed to you the deep things which will magnify his glory, to bring his flock to the gates of Zion, and blesses you with his Holy Spirit, your ways shall lead you to the path of destruction.

To Peter, it seemed well, with good intentions, to rebuke the LORD. But the LORD is God and his ways are perfect. Out of love, Peter acted foolishly, not knowing that Christ death and resurrection shall free the world from bondage, to those who believe. But should the wisdom of God, his truth, and what is good for us, in the death and resurrection of Christ, rest upon his heart, he would have not said that. He was so sure that he was right while he was standing in the way of the LORD. He was standing in the way of the glory of the most High God. God will have his glory and no man will take it away. Remember the Cross, the death and resurrection of Christ. Put it in your hearts and do not forget it. For in Christ’s death and resurrection there is power, everlasting glory, and our salvation. In his death we shall live because we accepted him as our LORD and Savior and obey him as a testimony of our love for him. O Father, let thy word come through like lightening. Let it make an indelible impression, putting your fear in our hearts that it shall not be removed. That we shall live in this fear, O LORD God, with a hope that shall profit us. When we are weak and weary, let us remember the saving hand of our God. Thy right hand is a strong hand that delivered that people from bondage and maketh Pharaoh confessed that thou art LORD ( look at Exodus 12:31). Moses’ God is LORD. But every god will know that my God is the true and living God. And should you live in this glory of the blood covenant of the LORD, then you also shall say, JEHOVAH is my God. The LORD most High and mighty is our God. Stand in his power of victory; for he defeated satan on the Cross. And made a mockery of him and his followers. For having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it (Colossians 2:15). The LORD shall fight for his people and those who stand against him will be destroyed. Because the LORD is our God he sheweth mercy and renew his compassion daily. That we shall rise up in his strength, that great and mighty strength that keep mountains standing strong and holds up the stars of the heavens in their position, with perfection.

Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by numbers: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth (Isaiah 40:26).

This is the Almighty God we exalt in the heavens. Blessed be the name of the LORD. Blessed be my God, the everlasting God. We shall stand on the rock, the everlasting rock, and the glory of God shall abound forever. All shall know of thy greatness, O God. And the heights of thy glory shall be exalted. My God, let them seek the things that are heavenly and not earthly. Let them seek life and not death. Let them not rebuke was is good before thee. But let them despise the things that taketh their souls to hell. Let your glory abound, my God, and let your wisdom come through like a twoedged sword. Let it cut into the bones and mirrows of men, that they shall know that thou art the living God. Thy name, O LORD, has come forth with joy and thy ways have bring gladness. If the LORD will oblige to it because it is pleasing in his sight, then let it be so. The ways of the LORD shall profit man. But the ways of man shall not always profit the LORD. Repent, repent, repent, saith the LORD; for your heart is far from me. Seek me (the LORD); and I shall give you truth and you shall walk in the light and the glory of God. “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the righteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD (Isaiah 55:7 – 8). The LORD is able to forgive sin. No sin is too big for my God to forgive. Repent of your sins. Repent, repent, repent, and let the LORD have his way with you. Come to the LORD; and he shall lead you to the path of righteousness and everlasting life.
