LET ALL OF ISRAEL COME TO THE LORD AND FORSAKE THEIR WAYS OF THE PAST. LET US COME WITH CLEAN HANDS, THEN SHALL THE LORD HEAR FROM US, AND BE GLAD by Michael

Clean your hands, O sinners, and call unto the LORD. Bring before him joy and gladness, and not vain rejoicing and corruption. Burden not the heart of God with your iniquity. Who is God that he should bear this evil? You have fatten yourselves with the works of evil and delight in innocent blood. O LORD my God, shew mercy. If not for your mercy who will save Israel? Who will save this corrupt nation that delight in desolation? When good stand before them they hiss with anger and contempt. They desire evil and have thrown the good things by the wayside. Who can save this nation if not for thee, O LORD? My people are rooted in corruption and they desire the rudiments of men. They cling to the lies and the truth they will not hear it. O God, they have harden their hearts that they will not understand. They run after vanity and then say, We are wise. O Father, who giveth wisdom but thee? Will thy name glory by the hands of the wicked? Will they depart from their ways and follow after righteousness? O LORD, shew mercy and forsake us not. But forgive us of our sins; for they are many. Restore our hope upon the hill of Zion. And in thy dwelling place let our praises be unto thee, a sweet savour. Let your joy be fatten with our praises. O LORD, in thy name there is hope. Life too is in the hand of the righteous God. Let all of Israel come to the LORD and forsake their ways of the past. Let us come with clean hands, then shall the LORD hear from us and be glad.
