WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? by Michael

Know this also, that in the last days perilous times shall come (2 Timothy 3:1).

Change is coming upon this land and they that stand in darkness shall not see the light. Those who take counsel from fools shall perish by their hands. They speak of what shall come but do nothing about it. They are babbling mouths without wisdom. And those that follow after them do it in vain. They tell you what shall come upon you but they give you no hope. They wait in vain and call it faith. But dead faith profits no one. Dead faith will not lead a man to safety. Dead faith will not put food in your mouth, nor quench your thirst. It will not keep you warm, nor comfort the little children. Dead faith will not shelter you, nor lead you closer to God. What many regard as faith is really hopelessness, and the folly of their imagination. But the LORD gives warnings, that we may take heed, in his mercy, and lovingkindness. And with his wisdom, in hope and righteousness and great faith, we will obey, and not sit quietly with dead faith to face the works of the wicked that shall come and leave us in despair. Even Joseph give counsel to Pharaoh in God’s wisdom, to show him the way, that he may take heed and prepare.

Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt. Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seventh pleanteous years. And let them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities. And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine. And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants. And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is? (Genesis 41:33 – 38).

Blessed is he who takes wisdom from the wise and follow after it. For wisdom that cometh from above cometh from God, and they that get theirs from below, know not the wisdom of God. How can they then lead the people to safety?

But yet the people wait, and do nothing. They wait with false hope, and dead faith. Yet they wait. What are you waiting for? For the day is coming when this earth shall mourn. And my works shall not be spoken in vain. Great terror shall fall upon nations. I am the LORD: surely it shall be done, thus saith the LORD. Righteousness shall abide. But the hand of the wicked shall rise up against the righteous. Hope in the LORD, O children of God. Let us cleave together. Let us reason together, in the wisdom of God, with faith that is profitable, and pleasing in the sight of God. O Israel, our LORD is one God. It is he who delivered us from bondage, and have shown us the way. He has laid out the path before us, and cause our eyes to see the light and to discern darkness and flee from corruption. Corruption will increase in the days to come. O great corruption shall come upon this land. They shall not cease from doing evil and their hearts shall desire it more and more. But I am the LORD and I will rise up against it. I will put it under my feet and it shall not rise again, saith the LORD.

I tell you the truth, man’s faith will dwindle away, when they are hungry and thirsty, and the hands of the oppressors lay heavy on their shoulders. It will come: make no mistake about it. And it is already here. Even our God who is the Almighty God, did not stand there in the beginning, before the foundation of the earth, without action, when he created the heavens and the earth and all therein. He spoke, O the glory of God: this is the faith of the Holy One. As it is written: In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God (John 1:1). So you see my brothers and sisters, the word of the living God was spoken. If God stood there and did not act on his thoughts what do you believe would have happened? But by the words of his mouth, great wonders cometh from the hand of God. He laid upon the earth treasures, and who can understand the works of his hand? He created the earth with wisdom and with understanding he created the heavens. Surely, this is the LORD. Let us follow after him, who in his wisdom cause Joseph to end up in the hands of Pharaoh, that Israel may be saved and not perish from famine. When things were plentiful they prepared for the seven years of famine. O what a mighty God. And yet we see the need for preparation. We prepare for the coming of this great God. So too, let us prepare for what shall come upon this earth, and not wait; for the LORD already tell us of what shall come. Take heed and make haste; for the day of great change is coming upon this land. And it shall come quickly. And those who say, Let us sit with faith and do nothing shall reap the rewards of their foolishness. We walk by faith and not by sight. Faith is believing that the word of God shall come to pass. But ignoring the word of God is not faith. It is the follies of fools, and the works of evil. Prepare my friends, lest you live to regret it. What shall your faith profit you then?
