And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant (Genesis 17:14)
God will always keep his covernant regardless if man keep his; for he is faithful even when we are not. He is righteous when we are not. And no lie is in him; for he cannot lie, even when we forbid the truth. The wicked justify their evil but God justifies the righteous. Let not a man walk in vanity and think he is wise to do evil. Every man that makes a covenant with God shall keep it, lest he is uncircumcised and forsaken the promise of God to Abraham his father. For the uncircumcised shall not dwell in hope. And all their glory shall turn upside down. The ways of the LORD are the hope of the circumcised. In Christ, man shall live in this covenant that is everlasting, unto the glory of God. But if a man walk not after the righteousness of Christ and keeps not his covernant, shall he then also partake of the blessings of his Father? Today I bring you the truth, that those who obey Christ shall please the Father. Let no man walk after his own ways and consider it a joy. But let him turn from his wickedness and follow after righteousness. For we cannot please God, lest he sees us in the righteousness of Christ. “No man cometh to the Father but by me.”
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6).
Remember the words of the LORD; for many who forsake it shall live to regret it. Hell is full of the disobedient and those who run after the flesh and the sins of it. But let the covernant keepers, the circumcised, rejoice. Let them rejoice; for they delight in the ways of God and run after his righteousness.
Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart (Psalm 97:11). But the breakers of covenant walk in darkness, and know not the light. “And the light shineth in darkness, and darkness comprehend it not (John 1:5).
God is merciful, even now. But that will come to an end for the unrighteous. Be not deceive. This same God who shew you mercy, hoping that you will change from your wicked ways will be the same God who shall cast you into hell fire if you are stubborn and follow after your wicked ways. The love you once endure shall be no more. The hope you once hope shall be no more. But the goodness of God shall endure for the righteous, those who heed to his words and follow after Christ.
