Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you (John 16:14 – 15).
LORD, who is like unto thee, the hope of righteousness and truth? Who have moved mountains and kept valleys low? Who can speak truth and it shall abide? Only the LORD my God.
For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth the bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it (Isaiah 55:10 – 11).
LORD, even from the beginning thou spoke thy creation into existence. It is thy spoken word that stand in glory. My God, my God, did you not tell Ezekiel prophesy…?
And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O LORD God, thou knowest. Again he said unto me, Prophesy unto these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. Thus saith the LORD God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath into you, and you shall live; and you shall know that I am the LORD (Ezekiel 37:3 – 6).
You, O great God. It is only you, the Word, who giveth life to all things. By thy hand, the mercies of heaven are brought down to man. O what beautiful hands thou carry. The hope of righteousness abide in thy hand. Like the rivers that glory in the pleasures of thy riches, like the oceans that jump for joy, they lift up billows of water, with fierceness and with strength thy glory is magnified. My God, the delights of thy hand marvel my soul. My eyes look to thee, O great glory is the LORD. O Father, because of you, the eyes of men are made to glory. The infinite wisdom of the LORD cannot be understood. Such mighty wonders he has laid before us. The depths of his glory makes me sing sweet melodies. I am eager to bring my praises before thee, O LORD. The joys of the LORD magnify my soul. His beauty enrich my heart. I am made glad in his glory. Then let his glory be exceedingly rich. Let the joys of the LORD be magnified without measure. The hope of the LORD is rich to all men who shall partake of his hand. Let his name be exalted. Let his praises be highly esteemed, forever. In Zion we will rejoice. We will sing songs and lift up the glory of God. This truth shall never die. I speak the things of God. Christ is my Saviour, the redeemer of my soul, the Son of the living God who walked upon this earth in the flesh. Let the children of God have hope. Let them cleave to the LORD. In him shall we find strength. The hand of God is with us. I tell you the truth: the God who is our God, who lifts up the heavens, and with his strength mountains stand strong, who causes rivers to rage with glory, who have searched the depths, and have held the measure of sand in his hand, by this God we stand. In his hand we are made to glory. The heavens are stretched forth like a curtain, the earth is laid down with wisdom. These are marvelous works of God. But God loves us more than all these things. O what a great love is this love. Who can search this love of God? My God, in your righteousness you still find hope for us. The lovingkindness of God shall be extol with gratitude. Yea, we shall be like mount Zion. We shall magnify his name. The glory of the LORD will be exceedingly rich. Remember the words of the LORD. The joys of heaven are magnified in truth. Blessed be the LORD that giveth these truths. Let glory come to the LORD. Let honour come quickly too!
