If this is my will, surely I shall fail. But I have come to understand the working of the power of Almighty God. Many have tried to derail the working of God and where are they now? ” Where is the fury of the oppressor?” They say, I am too blessed; I am too out spoken. Some even call me evil. But how can they who know not God understand the things of God? (This is the working of the Holy Spirit). He put his words in my heart; for I am his servant. Only God can do these things. ” Who can lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justify” (Romans 8:33). How can I not speak the words of God? Why shall I hide the truth of the living God? Do I fear God or man? Does man have the keys to the gates of heaven, and hell? I am a servant of God, not self – appointed, but by the hand of Almighty God. What shall I say then: if God is for me, then who can be against me? I glory, not by my hand, or the hand of man, but by the hand of the most High God. When I call, the LORD hears my voice. This is not my doing; who will tell God what to do? I humble myself before him. I am like a little child: there is no pride in my heart. After pride cometh destruction. Who then shall profit from this evil? God hates pride. Let every man search his heart and remove this evil. This hinders the face and the presence of God. Come to him pure and holy. Repent of your sins before seeking God. God will not hear the prayers of sinners, nor shall he turn his face to them. I tell you the truth; for the glory of the LORD my God is upon me. By the Spirit of the living God, I speak the truth of God. If the LORD is with me I shall yet stand in his glory. The LORD is my God. ” The LORD is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me besides the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake” (Psalm 23:1 – 3). If I stand alone, surely I shall fall. But I stand not alone. I cleave to God and cling to him; for he is my rock that shall not move. Why shall a man cleave to a corruptible, collapsible foundation, that cannot stand the test of time? But the foundation to whom I cling to is everlasting. Let all cling to this God who is the everlasting Father. Let all hope in this God who is blessed. Let all look to him; for his right hand is a strong hand. If the LORD keeps you, who then shall prevail against you? The works of men who detest the works of God shall perish. This shall be a desolation that shall go down into the pit. Who shall rival God and yet say they shall be triumphant? Only a fool will speak this way. Who knows the working of God and the wisdom of his glory? I smile with joy and my heart is booming with gladness; for I remember the things of God. He put his words into my heart and destroy the works of the enemy. My God, let your glory abound forever. Let your ways be my ways, my love. For truly your ways are marvelous before my eyes.
