LORD, behold thy power and strength. Who can stand against thee, my LORD? Upon Zion thou art King. Thy Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom. “Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles” (Psalm 25:22). Out of thy mercies did thou shew mercy. Out of thy hope did thou hope a wonderful hope. Thy thoughts unto us are many, thoughts of welfare and prosperity. For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11). We are the apple of thy eyes. O LORD, be our God forever, and establish our ways. O God of mercy, thy name shall be exalted. With our hearts shall we lift up thy glory. What joyful hope we shall have in the presence of the LORD. O LORD, our strength is renewed. Our days of old are rich with thy blessings. O LORD, withhold not thy glory in the latter days. My God shall glory. His hope shall abide. Thou art blessed forever. O God, thou art excellent before our eyes. Help us to cleave to thee, to surrender our whole hearts, and call on thee while thou art near. Be our light that we may not follow the path of destruction. Lead us to the gates of righteousness for thy mercies’ sake, then shall our days be long and our joy full of gladness. And thy name shall be exalted forever. With joy shall we lift up thy glory and honour. With joy shall we praise the name of the LORD! Yea, for Zion’s sake we shall do it. And Israel shall jump for joy.
