THE PATHS OF THE LORD ARE MERCY AND TRUTH by Michael

All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth such as keep his covenant and his testimonies (Psalm 25:10).

But a man who will not delight in the LORD, his path shall not be merciful and there is no truth in him. The mercy of God endureth forever for the covenant keepers and not for the wicked. Understand these things, children of the living God. For if a man shall not abide in the truth of the covenant keeping God, shall he not be cast down into the pit? Then what shall be his path? Shall it be one of mercy and of truth? Is hell a place of mercy and of truth? Some body better ask that rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen, in Luke 16, who died and went to hell.

And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in this lifetime received thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted and thou art tormented (Luke 16:24 & 25).

I tell you, he shall mourn in miseries and feast with all his lies. Death shall be his path; for he has forsaken the path of righteousness and of life. He sheweth no mercy to the beggar, to the poor and needy. He comforted not the soul of the afflicted. He considered not his pain and his discomfort. He had forgotten the goodness of God. He had step across the path of righteousness and stepped into the path of crockedness. He had forgotten the ways of my God. He had forsaken the path of Christ and God. He had forsaken the path of mercy and truth. He depised what is right but delighted in what is wrong. He had forbidden what is good and precious and more valuable than the things of this world. This is a sad choice that many will make. To despise the truth and the mercy of God, for lies, the deception of vanities, is a dreadful decision. Do not deceive thyself to do wickedness; for no mercy shall come to the wicked, but hell fire and everlasting torment.

LORD, save us. Let us abide in thy mercy and truth. Let us not forbid thy grace and thy salvation. Let thy righteousness cling to us like marrow to our bones, for thy goodness’ sake. Amen.
