Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? Said the Lord God: and not that he should return from his ways and live? Ezekiel 18:23
…As I live said the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked: but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn you, turn you from your evil ways: for why will you die...? Ezekiel 33:11
What is life if we don’t live it good? When death knocks on our door, will we be ready for that call? For if we are already living like the dead, then what would that day be for us? Would that day rendered peace unto us, or would sadness fill the depths of the ocean? Would we be happy, rejoice that our creator, LORD, Jehovah is ready to receive us, knowing that we have lived pleasing in the sight of God, or will we need more time, transient time, gone with the wind, never to return again? Time waits on no one. It does not wait for the living, nor for the dead. It does not wait for the rich, nor for the poor. It does not wait for the strong, nor for the weak.
But such will be a time when all will be held accountable for their deeds, not after death, but while alive. For there is no redeeming of oneself after death. God don’t care about all the nice things people say about the dead if they lived wicked, horrible, sinful lives. And all must seek redemption while still alive. Many put off seeking God for tomorrow. But I say to you, tomorrow is not promised to no one. And there is no tomorrow if all ends today. Don’t be vain and arrogant in your thoughts. For the word of God, in His infinite wisdom, has not revealed to anyone whether he/she will live to see tomorrow. So don’t be arrogant with pride and die a foolish death. For is it not better to die in the wisdom of God? The only way that can be accomplished is if we make Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, and live the way God deemed worthy for His Kingdom.
O weary souls, I call on you. O restless souls and tormented hearts, I call on you. O seekers of vanity and death, I call on you. O lost souls, I call on you. I call on you to come to the LORD. I call on you to come to the LORD. I call on you to come to the LORD Jesus Christ. He is ready, and he is able to redeem your souls. Let the glory of the LORD not pass you by. Let the grace of God not pass you by. Today is the day of redemption. Today is the day of everlasting life and glory. Praise God; for the glory of God has come upon you.
