I was living dangerously. I knew right from wrong then; but I was hesitant about accepting the Lord completely. “Why,” you may ask? Like many people who are living in the night, darkness looms heavily on the heads of the disgraceful. And yet the idea of departing this sinful world seemed so distasteful. And that is expected. We have eyes, but we cannot see. We are held captive by the master of errors, illusions, and deceptions. We cannot think straight under the influence of the devil. And he finds every possible way to keep us in the depths of hell, the trenches of the roaring lion; and only God can help us then.

When we accept God completely, many of the things that governed our lives take a back seat. We go through this renewal of spirit, a transformation out of this world, literally out of this world, and everything heavenly. And by his grace we are becoming perfect in his sight. We are watched more closely and guided by the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit, God becomes central in our lives. And our devotion to God is forever enlighten, enrich with everything wonderful, and beautiful. We look differently to the eyes of the world. We feel differently too. We are not afraid to profess the Lord’s teachings. There is this boldness that takes over. Our zeal for telling the world of redemption, salvation, and eternal life becomes ever so real. And our urgency to share the joy of the Lord takes over. But we are also sadden by our thoughts of those who will reject the Lord.

For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increases knowledge increases sorrow. Ecclesiastes 1:18

Because we are in the light, and we know the consequences of their pride, and foolish wisdom — many of whom are our friends, and people we know. So with kind and loving hearts we suffer in our truth. The wisdom of the Lord open our minds; the veils before our eyes are removed, and the clarity we received allows us to see everything. That is what God does for his beloved ones. But there is always hope for those under the influence of darkness while they are still alive. Come to your Father, and he will rejoice in his lost sheep who is now found. He would quench your thirst, and you will hunger no more.

Cherish the life that God has given you. Don’t take it for granted, not even for one second. Every second counts. Because you don’t knows your last day on this earth nor do you know the hour, minute, or second. Live in the glory of God, the joy of the Lord.
