O Father, out of the goodness of thy heart we have hope. We find hope in thy mercies. Thou have turned away thy wrath from us like a bow bowed down to the ground. We rejoice in thy lovingkindness. O LORD our God, because of thy tender love, thou have put gladness in our hearts. We remember our wicked ways, when our hearts were disquiet within us and our souls were stirred up like muddy waters. But by thy hand we find peace. Our souls are made calm in thy mercies. Like still waters our souls are made glad. We are grateful for thy mercies, O God. We give praises unto thee, O LORD God; for we remember thy goodness towards us. Our thanks to thee are greatly enlarged. O LORD my glory, find reasons to keep us in thy bosom. The apple of thine eyes shall lift up thy name with praises. The excellent things of our God shall come shining through. O the glory of God, who can stand against it and prevail? The joys of many waters shall magnify thy name. Like the sand of the seas shall thy praises be before thee. With a multitude of joy shall they come rushing through. The delights of thy heart shall glory. The LORD is our God. His name is great and greatly to be praised.
