All the rivers run into the sea, yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again (Ecclesiastes 1:7).
When I heard this I said, there must be a God, a great God who alone can do things like this. My heart raged with joy; then I said, I know this God. He comes to me day and night; and he will not leave me alone. And I lifted up my hand with praises; for the God of the heavens is my God.
My God, thou art great. Thou art the only wise God who can do such a thing. All the heavens rejoice in thy hand. The stars and the moon glow with thy glory. The sun, O LORD God, delights with such brightness. Thou art God. Only my God can do such a thing. I delight, O LORD God, in thy greatness. I delight in the hand that created all things heaven and earth. I delight in thy wisdom that cannot be matched. Thy knowledge and understanding, who can measure it? I delight in the great God Almighty. All the heavens rage with glory for the LORD. Even the earth rejoices in thy hand. O what a mighty God thou art. How many truths, O God, shall I lay before them? How many glory shall I declare? How many days will it take a man to magnify the greatness of God? The days shall grow old and weary and they shall not be enough. Can a man measure the infinite glory of God? Is he that evil that he would try? For only the wicked will attempt to do such a thing. Truly thou art the most High God. Thou art my God. This day, O LORD God, by thy hand shall thy servant rejoice. Who is like unto thee, O LORD? Who is like unto the great God Almighty? Who can say it and it shall be so, lest the LORD desires it? All things are in your hand, Almighty God. Every word of the LORD shall come to pass. This is thy will, O LORD. Then let it be that way. Let it be that the hand of God shall declare things that are right. He shall proclaim a good work. With truth shall it rise up like eagles. And with strength shall it stand like a high tower. Thou art God Almighty; then let it be so. Thou art the everlasting God; then let it be so. Thou art glory upon glory; then let it be so. Thou art my God forever; then let it be so. All the rivers run into the sea, yet the sea in not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again (Ecclesiastes 1:7). Then let it be so that the hand of God do all things in wisdom, knowledge and understanding, and in truth. Truth shall abide forever as it is spoken from the mouth of God; then let it be so. O LORD my God, truly thy hand is marvelous. And no one can take your glory away; then let it be so!
