MY HEART SHALL PANT LIKE THE HART PANT AFTER THE WATER BROOKS WITHOUT MY GOD by Michael

Without my God, I shall wander like the dogs. I shall pant like the harts after the water brooks without water. What then shall become of me? What shall be my fortune? Where shall my hope be? If I am deprived of the prosperity of the land, will desolation feed my soul? Will hopelessness give me hope? Will darkness give me light? Will sorrows bring me joy? What shall it be then? What shall it be in the land of the dead? What shall it be when there is only desolation upon desolation? Where shall one find hope in a hopeless land? Where shall one find glory when there is none? When the billows have swollen and the seas are angry, where shall I go? When all the land has gone vain and the treasures are not pleasurable, where shall I go? When men bring forth agonies and their hearts have become like a molten image, where shall I go? When there is no mercy, no mercy anymore, where shall I go? Where shall I go if my God is not there? When the hope of this world has gone, where shall I go? When the light upon the hill is not there, where shall I go? Who shall taste the bitterness of wormwood, yet shall they rejoice? Who shall glorify darkness, and yet rejoice? Who shall say, I shall desire death, yet shall I live? Who shall say, let evil be magnified but the goodness of God we will trample? Shall they then rejoice, hearts that glorified wickedness, if they will not repent before my God? Men who believe they shall find answers in the grave shall only find death. And those who shall wait until it is too late shall not find God. But hell shall be waiting with its mouth wide open and its belly full of pride.

A world without Christ is a world without answers. A world without Christ is a hopeless world. A world without Christ is a world without glory. A world without Christ is a world without life. Nothing good shall become of a man who will not seek Christ. I have seen the days without hope, the days without glory, the days without Christ. I have seen death eagerly waiting for a man who will not turn to God. And I can tell you, there is nothing good about it. I will not depart from my God.

In the land of desolation, man shall not prosper. But in the land of glory, all shall prosper. In the land of righteousness, all shall live. In the land of Zion, all shall rejoice. The light shall not go dim, nor shall they pant like the hart pant after the water brooks anymore. I have seen the land of the living water. I have seen my God. I have seen the God that liveth forever. Yea, I have seen the hand of Salvation. I have seen truth standing on the mountain top. I have seen the blessed hope of all man. I have seen the glory of God upon this earth. I have seen the land of living water. I have seen my God. I will not thirst, nor will I suffer want. It is good to seek the LORD. It is good to love the LORD. It is good to hope in a God who can actually deliver it. Seek the LORD. Trust him; for without him no one shall make it. All shall pant like the hart pant without the water brooks. Wait not in wickedness until it is too late. Let us all be eager for our God, like king David. As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God (Psalm 42:1).
