My Lord came upon me this evening with this message, for those who are quick to condemn their brothers and sisters in error, who beg them for forgiveness to no avail.

People make mistakes. We all have at some point in time. And I know we will continue to. And who are we to throw stones, when a child of God is begging for forgiveness? It is one thing to do wrong, recognized it, and seek the forgiveness of her brothers and sisters. But it’s another thing to be denied the forgiveness of others. I don’t know her personally, but I feel her pain. So much my God has allowed me to feel. I cry her tears, many soak my garments; for how can we be so cold-hearted?

Would we rather see someone suffer in her agonies and feel good about it or would we rather forgive? For if we cannot forgive, then the Lord will not forgive us. Where is the mercy? Where is the humility? Where is the grace? My Lord, my Lord, for the cold-hearted dear God, I beg you dear God to forgive them. It is so easy to throw their sister to the wolves; dear God, what have they become? I ask you dear Lord to step in and help those in pain and suffering. Give them hope dear God, and instill their faith and confidence. Harden not their hearts; but let them put their trust in you. For men, dear God, who can tell the nature of their hearts at any given moment? For they themselves cannot tell.

Let the rain fall without pleasure on those who scoff at the painful. Let the sun rise upon the sad and broken hearted, so they may know that the God of mercy still reigns forever. Let us become a more forgiving and loving people. How can we rejoice in the suffering of others, when we ourselves are not without fault? Holy Father, abide in us, and help us to become more like you. We have not only shamed ourselves, but we have shamed you. Forgive us dear God, extend your mercies, soften our hearts and let us rejoice in each other, so you may rejoice in us. You, my God, have answered my prayers, so I give you praise for what you are yet to do. Thank you heavenly Father; for I know my tears will not be in vain.
