I feel the joy of the LORD. I feel the Holy Spirit, and I am made aware of many things because the God I serve is a God of many wonders who have given to his anointed sons and daughters his gifts of love.

Holy Father, Father of joyful wonders, glory be thy name. Father, I lift up my head to the heavens and call on you with gratitude, with adoration, and with love, overflowing like ten thousand rivers. Dear God, I celebrate you; for you have guided me well in the work of charity. You have given me many affirmations, and you have allowed my faith to be built on your foundation. There were many moments when I called on you, and you showed up with vigor. You have given me so much joy in what I do. And many may not understand, but that’s okay. I understand. I understand your love. I understand your purpose. I understand your will. It will be done, and you shall have the glory.

I was a runner, running away from the kingdom of God, and all its glory. For many years I did not understand. But I do now. You were kind and patient, so kind; and I truly thank you for your steadfast love. Now you urge me on to do the good work. And I glorify your name. It is indeed good work. Many praise your name and give you glory, appropriately so, and fit for a King, such as you. You do give me joy in your infinite wisdom and in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Father, I can’t thank you enough for all that you have done. But I will continue to glorify and praise your Holy name. May you continue to walk with me on this wonderful journey of life, as you encourage hope, and smiles to the many faces that come before me.

Let your light shine on me so they may see the glory of Almighty God. Glory, glory, glory, hallelujah, praise the name of Almighty God. Blessed be thy Lord, creator of all things. Forever and ever let my God be blessed. (Mikey St. John)
