We are living in a paradise, though not our best life yet. But we’re doing everything possible to destroy it. Every little bit hurts, and it does not matter if we choose to acknowledge that or not. If we continue to tarnish it, chipping away the precious things at every chance we get, eventually that which was whole will lack the elements to sustain totality, effervescent glow, beauty as intended — giving rise to imperfections, distorted, fragmented elements of displeasures — a sad, sorrowful world that future inhabitants will inherit, a not so friendly one that would express itself sometimes angrily, violently spitting out hurricanes, tornadoes, and the likes.

We should at this point be remorseful and pay attention to the glaciers and their rapid destruction. We don’t need to have thorough understanding, or the conceptual capacity to appreciate the infinitesimal details when the evidence is so blatantly apparent. But if we continue on this part we will render a world so damage that it would be of no use to itself, and nobody else.

This world is self-sustaining, if only we would leave it alone. But that’s not to be; we’re here, and instead of inclining to be considerate, adapt, and respect it — we revert to being selfish, and that’s seldom good. And although we are far gone, already done tremendous damage, we can also make changes in what we do and how we do them, always remembering to protect what has been there for us, and what we continue to rely on. And that our livelihood depends on its livelihood, as we try for once to put the universe at the forefront at every step of the way.
