Nutrition Conscious, But Words Are Powerful Too

I’m nutrition conscious; it’s what I do.  But words are powerful too. So, every so often time would allow me some quietness, as words hustle their way into my mind, searching for a revelation. But what I couldn’t deny is what follows. And trying to understand the manifestation always seem to result in a joyful interlude. Evidently, truth would not allow itself to be crushed into oblivion. This has gripped me in the reverence of the holy spirit. There’s more than just life on earth, for The Bible tells me so.

For what would it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Mark 8:36 (KJV)

Nourishing our souls, understanding how we live our lives as God’s children is important now and even more relevant and necessary for the thereafter… But as human beings we still need to address nutrition in totality to not only achieve health but also to sustain it. The physicality of the brain requires and demands nourishment from the food we eat, as well. And another great way to capacitate and expand our brains is with words; they are powerful too — ensuring that we emancipate ourselves from ignorance. We should never underestimate their importance in motivating minds to aspire greatness, to instill confidence, to eradicate despair, giving rise to hope — flooding them with prospects of something encouraging and purposeful.

We’re created with resiliency, natural instinct to survive. But the harshness of this world do lay heavy on minds, at times saturating them with overwhelming task.  And we know that words can damage bodies, minds, and souls.  With that in mind, let us put some value in our thoughts before we speak so our words would echo sweet vibrations. And let’s try especially hard to use our voices to uplift others, instead of tearing them down.

The heart of the wise instructs his mouth and add persausiveness to his lips. Proverbs 16:23 (KJV)

It is more difficult to fabricate lies than speak the truth. The energy involved in the process is tremendous, exhausting, damaging, and unproductive. Why not take the easier route — the benefits are endless and really great for all. Let us bless others with our truth, so we may elevate them. Let us pray that the words of God would enter our minds, so our words would be joyful, and wise. Let us use discretion in our approach that we may enlighten, and encourage a society of good. Let our voices effect positive change, and stand for something of value. What we say to others matters, really matters. So let wisdom prevail. Be careful how you use your words —words are powerful too.
