ASK AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN: Mikey St. John

If you honestly believe that God is your heavenly Father because you were rebirth with the Spirit of truth, by the hand of our blessed Lord Christ Jesus, then act like it. Why treat the Father like a stranger? Would not the Father give his beloved children good gifts? Our Father has a tender, loving heart, and cherish his beloved. That, he would not deny them anything virtuous. Remember our Father and God will always protect us in all that he does. If God says yes, praise him. And if he says no, praise him even more. For therein lies the bountiful love of God. No one knows the wisdom and knowledge of God. No one knows what tomorrow brings. But God the Father knows all things. Then what shall I say to you? But trust the Lord in everything. To trust the Lord is to love the Lord. We rejoice not only when we lay upon the bed of roses, but also when we lay upon the bed of thorns. Will we not please God in or trials and tribulations? I say, we exalt him; we lift him up above the highest heaven, and glorify his blessed name. For we know that God is with us, even in our times of need. If God gives you Salvation, eternal life, what will he not give you? The most precious thing, the life of his Son Jesus he has given to you, and I. So we rejoice, knowing that our God, who does all things for his pleasures, finds us worthy, that all in all his pleasures may be filled.

God will give you anything your heart’s desire if it is inline with his, even if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, and you ask for it in Jesus’s name. Faith can move mountains. Listen to Jesus, and give it a try.

If you are a child of God, he will not deny you anything, if your asking is sincere, for the right purpose, and your inintention is in line with God’s. God has given to all, even those who do not love him. What would he then do for you, his beloved child in Christ? For all that the Father has is ours.

He is our heavenly Father and knows what’s best for us. Keep that in mind at all times. If you asked and it was not received — then be happy about it, because God is looking out for you. And you should thank him; praise his holy name; trust his wisdom; continue to live pleasing in his sight; let your sincerity guide your future approaches.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6 (ESV)

There’s no reason for your apprehension, when you go to the Lord with your request(s). Never be afraid to ask for what you want. Maybe, now might be a good time to take that leap of faith. Who knows, that bold, confident approach might work out in your favor, and you will get exactly what you deserve.

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. James 1: 6-8 KJV

In this materialistic world of wanting everything and anything, amassing to the point of excessiveness, and wasting, are you the modest type, cautious in your approach, always thinking and rethinking, constantly analyzing, being paralyzed by doubt, lacking confidence that you might not get what you want? And you’re more inclined to make conscious efforts to ask for very little, hoping to evade the disappointments which sometimes happen nonetheless.

But you’re not without reasoning, which led you to realized that you’ve nothing to lose and everything to gain by asking for plenty, providing your asking is sincere and not based on envy and jealousy. And more than likely if you don’t get what you want, you will get what you need.

Ask and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who ask, receives, and the one who seeks finds, and the one who knocks it will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8 (ESV)

For with God nothing is impossible. Luke 1:37 (KJV)

As your enthusiasm grow be careful that you don’t become like hungry dogs wrestling for bones, when your needs are already met.

The righteous eat to the satisfying of his soul, but the belly of the wicked shall want (Proverbs 13:25 KJV).

If your desires are purposeful, and your needs are laden with truth: I have some great news for you which I have reserved to the end and should not come as a surprise — God deals in massive ways! And what you might be considering is not too big for him. Use that to your advantage in your journey through life. And don’t be afraid to ask him for plenty; he might just turn around and give it to you, anyway.
