God will give you anything your heart’s desire if it is inline with His, and you ask for it in Jesus name.
He is our Heavenly Father and knows what’s best for us. Keep that in mind at all times. If you asked and it was not received — then be happy about it, because God is looking out for you. And you should thank him, praise is Holy name, trust his wisdom, continue to live pleasing in his sight, and let your sincerity guide your future approaches.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6 (ESV)
There’s no reason for your apprehension, when you go to the Lord with your request(s). Never be afraid to ask for what you want, even if it’s plenty, much more than you’ve considered before. And maybe, now might be a good time to take that leap of faith. Who knows, that bold, confident approach might work out in your favor. If not, you may get exactly what you deserve. But should you ask for a little, more than likely you’ll get nothing if you’ve no faith.
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. James 1: 6-8 KJV
In this materialistic world of wanting everything and anything, amassing to the point of excessiveness, and wasting, are you the modest type, cautious in your approach, always thinking and rethinking, constantly analyzing, being paralyzed by doubt, lacking confidence that you might not get what you want? And you’re more inclined to make conscious efforts to ask for very little, hoping to evade the disappointments which sometimes happen nonetheless. But you’ve not yet realized, and thus far have not learn that you have not evaded your chances of disappointments nor minimized them.
But you’re not without reasoning, which led you to realized that you’ve nothing to loose and everything to gain by asking for plenty, providing your asking is sincere and not based on envy and jealousy. And more than likely if you don’t get what you want, maybe you will get what you need. Most people for some reason have more tendencies to take you seriously, thinking that you know your worth, and your asking might be validated.
Ask and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who ask, receives, and the one who seeks finds, and the one who knocks it will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8 (ESV)
For with God nothing is impossible. Luke 1:37 (KJV)
As your enthusiasm becomes sweet like honey, be careful that you don’t become like hungry dogs wrestling for bones, when your needs are already met.
The righteous has enough to satisfy his appetite, but the belly of the wicked suffers want. Proverbs 13:25
By the way, if your desires are purposeful, and your needs are laden with truth: I have some great news for you which I have reserved to the end and should not come as a surprise — God deals in massive ways! And what you might be considering is not too big for him. Use that to your advantage in your journey through life. And don’t be afraid to ask him for plenty; he might just turn around and give it to you, anyway.
