Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Do good; follow the teachings of the LORD thy God, and your rewards will be great. Live every moment, gracious, faithful, with love, trusting in the LORD, and tomorrow will take care of itself. For no one on this earth can deny you your place in heaven which our Father has prepared for us.

TAKE THEREFORE NO THOUGHT FOR TOMORROW: FOR TOMORROW SHALL TAKE THOUGHT FOR THE THINGS OF ITSELF. SUFFICIENT UNTO TODAY IS THE EVIL THEREOF (Matthew 6:34).

We are often bold in our ways, and our tongues can speak evil, talking about what we would do tomorrow and beyond, without taking God into consideration (James 4:13 – 16). Can man change anything, except that is the will of God? We can do nothing without God. We are powerless without him. Then why burden ourselves in our weekness? This lack of wisdom will give rise to evil. Let God be God. Let him alone have that glory. He has created the heavens and the earth, and all therein. Can he not provide for us our needs? I tell you that God can do all things. He can rise the mountains on high. He can light up the heavens with the stars. He can cast rainbow in the sky. He can quiet the storm. He can path the sea, and free the burdens of hell on his people. This is an awesome God. Trust him; he is faithful in his ways. Blessed be his holy name.

Understand this: all things are in God’s hand. And there is no tomorrow without today. Be careful; pay attention with emphasis. By so doing you will depart from evil. Make an honest effort to be close to God, by following in the footsteps of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. Do what you do with love, sincerity, and joy, today, because tomorrow is not promised to anyone (Proverbs 27:1). In the end nothing matters if your life was not pleasing to God. So our efforts must always seek to glorify Almighty God, daily, moment by moment.

Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh (Matthew 24:44).

One will get us so far. Two will get us closer… I guess you know how the story goes. We are constantly making future plans every step of the way, because we think we know what tomorrow brings — the audacity of it all — taking arrogance to a new level. The certainty of us to ignore the present and not living in the moment is so wrong. It is what we do right now that will dictate heavily on the future. We think the future is more important, and that is so far from the truth and blindly misleading. If we are smart enough to take care of today, by seeking God’s grace and wisdom, tomorrow will take care of itself. We have enough to worry about today; why should we burden ourselves with matters of tomorrow?

The Creator of this universe, our righteous God has a mind beyond our comprehension. He remembers what we did yesterday, today, and takes that into consideration the next day, and beyond. If anyone can tell me what will happen tomorrow — please let me know, because I am not that clever. So I try to do the right thing today, live by faith, and pray that God grant me wisdom and long life to understand tomorrow, and beyond. (Mikey St. John)
