Lift up the King, most High and exalted. Call on the name of the LORD. And let the glory of God take hold of you. The LORD that made the heavens and the earth shall not fail you. Do not be afraid to seek your maker, to call on your Father, to come before the Holy One, to rejoice in the blessed hope, to lift up his name in glory, to dwell in the presence of holiness, to seek the countenance of his beauty. The LORD your God is waiting on you. Call on the LORD; for it is he who made you. And it is written of you in his word. Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name; Call unto me and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not (Jeremiah 33: 2 – 3). My beloved God is your friend, and not your enemy. It is he who made thee, and he has an expected end for thee. For it is written: For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11). Remember, God is on your side. Be quick to call upon the name of the LORD, to offer thanksgiving and praise, to bring pleasure before the most High, to make a request for your desire, and to glory in the God that love you. Remember, your Father is gracious, and his lovingkindness reaches the heavens. Seek the beauty of holiness. Call upon the LORD your God, and my God. Come with humility and meekness. Put your pride to the side. And let the LORD have his way with you.
