My beloved, I come before you to encourage you in Christ. To lift up a holiness before you, that you may behold the glory of God. For God desires all of you. Examine thyself and see if there be any wicked thing in thee and flee from it. Let not the works of unrighteousness take hold in thee; for if you be in Christ you shall be a new creature. We are God’s children. But my desire of you is that you are sons and daughters of God, in whom he delights and in whom he glory. Remember our God, and forsake not the lifting up of praise and thanksgiving. Let thy hands be clean and thy heart pure. Come with thanksgiving, rejoicing in the LORD; for his mercy endureth forever. Seek his beauty; for his countenance is wonderful. Bless his holy name; for the LORD is our Rock. Upon the holy hill lift up your hands with praise and magnify him. For all our days prosper in the hand of the LORD. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you, my beloved. May the glory of God be with you. And you he shine his countenance upon you.
