But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should shew forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9).

My beloved, I come before you with hope in our LORD Jesus Christ. The God of Israel is our God, the God of everlasting covenant, which we have made by blood in Christ Jesus, will not forsake us. This is our assurance, that God who freed us from bondage, from sin and corruption, is capable of keeping us. For we are God’s chosen people whom he has chosen out of this world. We are in this world, but we are not of this world. Let us walk in the liberty of Christ our God. And let us remember, he that work a good thing in us shall not fail us. We are the sheep of his pasture. We are the apple of his eyes. We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, who God has preserved for everlasting glory. Seek the LORD, our Rock, our hope of righteousness, our God of truth. Get in the word, and forsake the cares of this world. For the word gives life. But the love of this world is enmity with God. Will you desire the finite things in life that will pass away? God forbid. For I pray that the infinite glory of God will keep thee. Let this be your joy, that our hope shall not vanish in the dust, nor cast away in the grave. But our hope is in the God of salvation, our Rock, our God of truth, who redeemed us from sin and condemnation. My beloved, I hope my prayer for you shall be a sweet savour before our God. For the God that we love is faithful when we are not. And his mercy endureth forever for those who love him and keep his commandments. And this I say to all of you: love the LORD thy God with all thy heart and mind and soul and with all thy strength, and love your neighbors as yourself. Be quick to forgive, and to show mercy. Keep the peace. And let no anger and bitterness  take root in thy heart. But remember the mercy of God who has shown us mercy, and be merciful. For how can we be like Christ if we harness the ways of the world? Let us walk in liberty, and not in bondage. For where the Spirit of the LORD is there is liberty. God is our Rock, our presence help. Seek his countenance upon the holy hill. Our God of salvation is meek, and tender in heart. He knows our weaknesses, and our faults. Who in our midst is perfect, but the LORD? Who is without sin, but the LORD? Let us cleave to our God, our Holy God; for in his righteousness we hope. We are redeemed by his blood. He died for our sins, that we may live. Remember the hand of the living God. This same God that made the heavens and the earth consider us in his mercy. Let us walk like Christ and bring glory to our God. This day which the LORD has made let it stir up in you a good thing. Our heavenly Father is with praise. Our God of righteousness, the only wise God, is with praise. Our God that sustains us and keep us in safety is with praise. Remember his name, LORD Jesus. Remember his glory: how mighty are the works of his hand! And let us give glory to God in the highest. Let us give glory to God who has saved us by grace, through faith, a free gift of God, that no one shall boast. Let us bless our LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ, and thank him for the Holy Spirit, whom we are sealed with forever.
