When my tears watered my bed like a mighty river I called upon the LORD. When my sorrows overcome me I called upon the LORD. It is your name, O LORD, my hope, my strength, that I called upon. I called upon the name Jesus. When I was sunk down in my bed and my days were dreary; when sadness lingered and burdened me; when my heart could bear no more pain I called upon the LORD. When I looked and all I saw was despair I called upon the Light. The Light came and shine in my heart and the hand of God delivered hope, even salvation came and took hold of me. The LORD saved me from my agonies, and from the deepest pit. He comforted me and restored my hope unto the Rock. Now I sing his praise and offer thanksgiving unto his name. The LORD is good to me. The LORD is wonderful. Yea, like a father pity his child so the LORD pity me. The LORD chastise me when need be. I take no pleasure in it but I understand it. But when he shew me his good pleasures I delight in them. Let the LORD glory; for by his hand we will endure. The LORD shew mercy and withhold not his lovingkindness from us. Who can deny the goodness of God? Are we not here to rejoice in his name? Give glory to God; for his mercy endureth forever. Lift up the LORD our strength. The LORD help us in times of need. And he strengthen us when we are weak. Because of him we live. Let the LORD glory; for his riches are our delight. Let us hope in the LORD, our God of Zion, our God of great might and strength. Let the whole earth praise his name. O shew unto the LORD thy good pleasures and comfort his soul with joy and gladness. Let the LORD glory. Let my King rejoice. I tell you the truth. The LORD is faithful and true. Call upon the LORD and he will answer you. Call and do not be afraid. Call with your whole heart, my Saviour, my God, and he will come to you. The LORD is dear to my soul. Let him be dear to your soul also. May the LORD come to you when you seek his countenance. And may he show you his beauty. Love the LORD with all your heart and soul. It is the best thing you can do. And be kind and loving to your neighbors. Withhold your anger; be forgiving, make peace, and not war. Put the flesh under subjection and desire the things of the spirit. God is Spirit. And in spirit and in truth will we please our Father in heaven. May the glory of God be upon you. And may the presence of God abide with you.
