Yea, truth fail, and he that depart from evil make himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment (Isaiah 59:15).
They that trample on the word of God, do it at their own peril, and not at the mercy of God. “They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy (Jonah 2:8). For you despise to hear good, and you rejoice when evil is spoken. You lift up unrighteousness. And when righteousness comes before you you cast it to the ground. Then you say in your hearts, My good deeds will save me. But what about the evil that you do continually, will you deny that? Let it not be so. No one is righteous in the eyes of God, lest he be in Christ Jesus.
But we all are as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities as the wind has taken us away (Isaiah 64:6).
Depart from your wicked ways. Repent of your sins, and sin no more. Let the LORD Jesus be your light, your source of truth, and hope: then it will be well in the sight of the LORD. And I shall call you my brother or my sister. And I will pray that the blessings of the LORD forsake thee not. Let this day abound with hope. And let the joy of the LORD be lifted up. Let the heavens rejoice in thy name. For the LORD my God has welcomed you with open arms. Come and rejoice in his rest, in the bosom of his glory. For it is written: Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repent (Luke 15:10). You see how much God rejoices over you, who seek him with a repenting heart. For this cause I say unto you, my brother and my sister: ” The LORD bless thee and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace (Numbers 6:24 – 26).”
