Forty years long was I grieve with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways (Psalms 95:10).

Have mercy on us, O LORD, and forgive our unbelieve. Though we have seen thy power and glory our hearts run after evil. O LORD, the works of thy hand are mighty and great, a testament to thy glory. LORD, thou made the heavens and the earth; do they not consider it, O LORD? Is anything too difficult for thee? Surely, thy hand is excellent in glory. Behold, thy mighty hand is from everlasting unto everlasting. Who then shall grieve the heart of the LORD? Will a man not know thy strength and thy power? Will he not humble himself before thee? By thy mighty hand, O LORD, thou sustain the heavens and the earth. Every man that lives is in thy hand. By thy great mercy do men awake, and sleep. Who then shall not glory in the LORD? Let truth rise up. And let honour and strength come before thee. For thy name is excellent, and thy glory is eternal. Mighty words and deeds cometh from thee. Why then do they not believe? Must thy anger be stirred up? Or must great judgment come upon this earth? All things are in thy hand, a great God of power and glory. Behold, the LORD my God, mighty in words and deeds. All things shall come together for his glory. O LORD, have mercy on us. And help us to turn from our wicked ways. O LORD, the heavens declare thy glory; and the firmament sheweth thy hand work ( Psalms 19:1). Yet the wicked forsake thy mighty hand. The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. Take from our hearts the unbelieve; for who shall find rest in thy Kingdom? Who shall find rest in the presence of God, lest they believe?
