And rejoice not with them; for what shall it profit you before the LORD? Desire wisdom and not corruption. Seek life, and not death. Shall the LORD find comfort with evil? Or shall he rejoice with the prayers of the wicked? Partake not with them that lift up vanity unto the LORD, lest you fall with them when suddenly destruction take hold of them. Pray for the hopeless, that God may give them hope. Pray for the weak, that God may give them strength. Pray for them that know not God, that he may open their eyes that they may see. But rejoice not with evil, and glorify not their sins. “In the congregation of the ungodly shall a fire be kindle; and in a rebellious nation wrath is set on fire (Ecclesiasticus 16:6). Approach God with wisdom. And remember what he has spoken. God will not hear the prayers of a sinner. ” If one turn away his ears from hearing the law, even his prayers is an abomination (Proverbs 28:9). The LORD is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayers of the righteous ( Proverbs 15:29). If I had regard iniquity in my heart, the LORD will not hear me (Psalms 66:18). Be mindful of the ways of God, that you may prosper before him. And seek not the wisdom of the wicked, nor let foolish things seep into your hearts. But let the delights of the LORD take hold of thy souls. And cleave to God who is infinitely wise, and give to every man accordingly, as he so desires. Delight in the LORD and he will delight in thee. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Come before the LORD with repenting spirits, with broken and contrite hearts, and the LORD shall not turn his face away from you. For it is written: The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O LORD, thou will not despise (Psalms 51:17). Spend time in the word if you want to understand your Father. In it you will find his likes and dislikes. Approach God with wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. And surely, the LORD will not deny thee. Be truthful and honest. Be respectful and be in awe with the LORD. Will a father deny the voice of a loving child? So also God our Father, will not deny the voices of them that love him. Behold, O LORD my glory, who shall declare my path, lest thy right hand perform it? Let all that I do bring delight to thy soul. O LORD, from whence thou dwelleth let thy name be praised. And let thy heart be please when I call upon thy name. Remember, you that seek the LORD… without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that come to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:16). Remember, O children of God, my beloved, God is a Spirit, and those that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).
