The salvation of the LORD is upon this earth and it shall take hold of the righteous; for the day of the LORD is at hand. The glory of God is exceedingly great, and it shall come forth swiftly; for the terrible day of the LORD is at hand. The dreadful day shall come and the wicked shall not be able to withstand it. For they did evil and consider not the works of his hand, neither did they desire to praise him, nor give unto God his glory due. But unto them, they lift up the works of unrighteousness, and all abominable things which their hearts delight. They profane the righteous. And the good things they call evil. And the evil things they behold in their glory. But they despise the hope of the LORD, and put to shame the glory of God. But praise is comely for the upright. “Praise is not seemly in the mouth of a sinner; for it was not sent him by the LORD. For praise shall be uttered in wisdom, and the LORD will prosper it (Ecclesiasticus 15:9 – 10). And they that run after God shall glory. For the LORD giveth praise. And no man shall lift up his name, lest he desires it. From everlasting unto everlasting the LORD glory; for so it was ordained before the foundation of the earth. And his name is exalted above the heavens. Above all names is his glory lifted up. And the works of his hands endureth forever. Surely, the LORD God is Almighty. Who then shall dwell in the midst of righteousness, lest the LORD desires it? Let the righteous come forth: let them rejoice in the LORD; for the day of the LORD has made glad the souls of the righteous. And the glory of God is exceedingly great before them. But the wicked praise not the LORD; for he desires not praise from the wicked. Will the wicked profane the presence of God? Repent, repent, repent, saith the LORD my God. Then shall it be well with your soul and I shall desire praise of thee. Who then shall dwell in the midst of righteousness, lest the LORD desires it? Or who shall praise the LORD if it was not sent by him? My beloved, let us glory in the LORD; for praise is comely for the upright. And praise comes from the LORD our God. Let us lift up righteousness to the ends of the earth. Let us declare the works of his hands. Let liberty go forth and free them that are bound, that they may dwell with hope, and offer praise and thanksgiving to our God. To God be glory; for his name alone is excellent in all the earth. By his hand we will sing praises unto our righteous God. Yea, it shall be a perpetual thing; for our God is faithful to send it. Blessed be the name of the LORD.
