THE LORD IS OUR ROCK: WE WILL PUT OUR TRUST IN HIM

LORD, unto thee I give power and strength. Praise will beseech thee. And thy glory shall abound. All the works of thy hand shall profit thee. And the lifting up of thy name shall be excellent in all the earth. The heavens shall be glad in thee, and they shall come forth rejoicing in thy name. Even the heavens of heavens shall glory; for thou art the most High, the LORD of hosts, the God of truth that created all things. Blessed art thou, O LORD; for thy name alone is glory.

O LORD my glory, strengthen me in the Spirit. And put my flesh under subjection. Remember, O LORD, when I cleaved to thee, when my whole heart come forth rejoicing in thy name. I have done many things that I am not proud of and I hate it. But my heart desires thee, O LORD. My soul long for thee. Help me, O God, that I will be with thee for eternity. You are my strength, even the strength of my life. Surely, thy hand will not fail me. All the days of my life I will look for thee. I will seek thy face; for thy countenance is my glory. Behold, the hand of God is upon me. O LORD, my soul quake in your presence. Thou have lifted up my joy. My eyes are flooded with tears. O LORD, my strength, will my eyes flow rivers of water? Will I also wet my bed? Thou art my Rock: I find favour with my God. The joy of thy bosom enrich my soul. I sing praises unto thee; for it is good to do so. Let the righteous rejoice in thy name. Let them sing thy praise. Praise is comely to the righteous. And praise come from the LORD. Who then shall desire the joy of the LORD, but he that seek the LORD in truth? Let thy glory abound. And let thy praise not forsake thee. My blessings come from thee. And also from thee, come my hope. All the works of thy hand is excellent before me. I look to thee; for without thee I am nothing. What shall it profit me without the LORD? What shall it benefit my soul without thy right hand? Let thy right hand keep me and let righteousness take hold of me. Let the wicked depart from me. And let vanity hide itself from me. But let the works of thy hand, O LORD, save me. And let the joy of your salvation cleave unto my bones: even my marrow shall rejoice in me. Wash me with thy blood and sanctify me. Shew me the works of thy hand and let them not forsake me. But let me give thanksgiving and praise unto the LORD. And let the glory of God abound. Let the most High be exalted. And let the goodness of God be exceedingly great upon the earth. Open our eyes and hearts that we may run after truth. O LORD, let us cleave to thee: truth cometh from thee. For all others are vanity, corrupt, and wicked. Is there any that is good, but thee, O LORD? For I have seen the works of man. Vanity, O vanity, saith the Preacher. All is vanity. What then shall it profit a man who put his trust in another man? Shall he not be led to the slaughter, like a sheep is led to the slaughter? Or shall he be like a tree planted where there is no water, that shall wither away and die? The fountain of youth is the LORD. And from him come living water. Shall a man not drink of this water? How then shall he live? O LORD, give me drink that I shall not thirst. And let my bowels come forth rejoicing in thy name. Let the joy of thy bosom overflow with praise. And let  thanksgiving be excellent before you. Let thy heart be fatten with joy and gladness. Give me the LORD my God, and it shall be well with my soul. In thy hand there is life. Let all men cleave to God. Thou search the hearts and reins and reward every man accordingly. For what shall a man sow that shall he reap. It is written: Thus saith the LORD, Curse be the man that trust in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart depart from the LORD. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhibited. Blessed is the man that trust in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, and that spread out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat come, but her leaf shall be green, and shall not be careful in the time of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit (Jeremiah 17:5 – 8).
