DAYDREAMING FOR THE GLORY OF GOD

Daydreaming is free; it don’t cost me a thing, not even one dime. So I daydream because I can; there is no harm from doing it the right way. Now there are new findings that daydreaming might actually be good for us, positively affecting the brain, making us smarter. So, I make it my business to dream everyday from dust to dawn, and beyond. I dream of making a difference — extending my gift of healing to as many people as possible — making a conscious effort to share my knowledge so they may continue to teach others about nutrition and its correlation with health.

However, regarding, daydreaming, we must be careful how it’s being done. Some of us daydream for the good of God, while others for the will of the devil. If what we do are inclined with the former — then these things should please God. But this is a process which begins with faith, and ends with the actuality, the realization of the good deed. This is by all means a fruitful endeavor, unlike those who remain inactive, doing nothing to manifest that faith, daydreaming in vain, just for the sake of it.

The book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt mediate there in day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written there in: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Joshua 1:8 (KJV)

Mediation comes from a Hebrew word ‘hagah’ which means to imagine; it means musing. What would we be if it was not for imagination. By our nature as children of God, made in His image and likeness, our ability to daydream is a blessing, and not a curse. It is how we use what was given to us that will make all the difference.

I have embraced the opportunity and the privilege to pray for wisdom so I may understand life, the difficulties we may encounter, my purpose on this earth while seeking fulfillment, God’s grace and mercy — while encouraging excitement, boldness, and vigor for the glory of God. And you should too, and you should not deny yourselves that chance to follow in the footsteps of our Almighty God.

Think about this for a moment: do you believe that our Heavenly Father created heaven and earth by accident? Certainly not, everything was well planed. He took his time, created, and executed this to perfection. Because we’re embedded with greatness, winning attributes of our living God, and we should endeavor to become pleasing in his eyes. By following his word, meditating on them day and night. Realizing that there is power in the word of God, and Jesus Christ is the only way to eternal life.

I dream about truth, the word of God, that his wisdom would find me, about the universe and its complexities, and the simple things that many overlook and simply don’t understand. There are inherent goodness and greatness about dreaming when our mind-set is inline with God teachings. Somehow wisdom have ways of finding those who’re not afraid to dream. It’s God’s way of revealing truths, to those who will display meaningful efforts to achieve them. And to those who say they don’t daydream, well, I’m truly sorry to hear that, because wisdom will never find them. But more importantly, truth will never find them. Remember, it’s okay to daydream. It’s certainly a way of life and the only way to manifest all things possible, if we believe in the Lord, first, and then take action.
